Multipurpose Carpet & Felt-Back Vinyl Adhesive

 

Roberts 3300 is a solvent-free, premium performance, high-solids latex formula for maximum performance. Excellent for occupied buildings. Use for the installation of felt-backed sheet goods, only unfinished sheet-cork underlayment, latex foam-backed, needle-punched, jute, urethane foam, latex unitary, woven, wall carpet, hot-melt and polypropylene secondary backed carpets.superior grade multipurpose carpet and felt-back vinyl adhesive developed for the installation of most types of commercial carpet and felt-backed sheet vinyl floor coverings.

Conditions and Limitations  
  1. Temperature: Adhesive and floor must be at least 65°F (18.3°C) or higher.
  2. Condition of floor: Clean, dry and free of hydrostatic pressure, alkali, oil, moisture, grease and wax. Cushion vinyl flooring must be removed.
  3. Drying time: No heavy traffic for 24 hours. Do not expose to water for 4 days or standing water (i.e. cleaning) for 4 weeks. Temperatures maintained lower than 65°F (18.3°C) require a longer cure time.
  4. Do not apply between two nonporous/impervious materials.
Preparation and application  
  1. Lay out material according to manufacturer's specifications.
  2. Apply adhesive evenly to the substrate according to industry standards or as recommended by the flooring manufacturer.
  3. Set the material into the adhesive within 15 minutes after troweling. The material can be adjusted within this time. Lift a corner periodically to see that the adhesive is transferring 100% to the back of the flooring. If the adhesive is not transferring, apply additional adhesive.
  4. When it is necessary to seam carpet, follow the carpet manufacturer's instructions on cutting and seal seams.
