General ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ TERRA rubber tile is a homogeneous synthetic rubber floor tile with a low profile studded surface. Extremely hardwearing, it is designed for heavy traffic areas where safety underfoot, cigarette burn resistance and ease of cleaning are required.
Dimensional Stability ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Tested to ASTM D1204, maximum change in linear dimension 0.1% (Coin) / 0.05% (Wave Star) after 6 hours at 80ºC.
Hardness ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Conforms with ASTM D2240, nominal hardness (SHORE A) is 80 + 5.
Compression Set ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Conforms with BS 1711:1975, compression set after prolonged heavy loading less than 10%.
Flame Spread ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Tested to DIN 51960 TERRA rubber tile obtains a Class 1 rating.
Cigarette Burns ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Tested to DIN 51961 TERRA rubber tile has excellent resistance to cigarette burns.
Abrasion Resistance ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Tested to ASTM D4060 Taber Abrasion Test, maximum weight loss 0.5gm (Coin) / 0.95gm (Wave Star) after 1000 cycles with H18 wheels at 1000gm loading.
Tensile Strength ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Conforms with ASTM D412, > 75 kgf/cm3.
Elongation ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Conforms with ASTM D412, > 200%.
Water Resistance ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Under very wet consition slip resistance is impaired. TERRA rubber tile is suitable for changing rooms, washrooms, etc., but not swimming pool surrounds.
Oil Resistance ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ ¡@ Prolonged exposure to oil, grease and fats causes deterioration. TERRA rubber tile is suitable for car showrooms where spillage is infrequent, but not garage workshops or food preparation areas.
